This past Christmas, Jared and I were fortunate enough to take 2 full weeks off from work to spend time with each other and our loved ones.
Here are some highlights from our trip:
Rolling around town in my brother's 1988 Porche.
Working out in Ranger Garage Gym. (Jared's brother, Jeremy's garage gym)

...then...
As a group (5 reps at a time) we completed: 100 Cleans, 100 Push Ups, 100 Kettle Bell Swings, 100 Toes to Bar.
We drove to Guadalupe Peak to go on a Trail Run/ Hike. It was so beautiful. There was snow on the ground, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky. It was perfect!
We ran 3.5 miles up the trail to "The Grotto" and hiked back down.

The very next day...We got snowed in!
It was too cold to workout out doors, so we made a trip to Jared's mom's work for a WOD.

DB Thrusters

We opened some of our gifts on Christmas Eve Eve... check out my favorite gift of the season:
Although I don't have any pictures of it, we ran up the river trail along the Rio Grande a couple of times. We concocted up WODs in which we ran about a 1/4 mile to concrete benches where we would perform various body weight movements. I really felt the difference in elevation as I gasped for air... or maybe it was all the junk food!
I was asked, "What is your favorite Christmas memory?" I couldn't think of any one particular thing. All Christmas' are so special to me because it is a time filled with love and family. That is my favorite thing about Christmas.
